Apple picking in Shenandoah Valley

This Saturday we woke up really early and drove up to the Shenandoah Valley, about an hour and a half away. We went to an orchard and helped glean apples that were later donated to a local food bank. We had a wonderful time working together as a family. After a couple hours we headed over to the main farmhouse and bought some fresh produce and some delicious kettle corn. It was a perfect fall day!
