little sweetheart

Just a little update- Libby is getting so chubby she is up to 14 lbs already and as cute as can be. Philly is studying his brains out and is super ready to have finals here and over with - but i think he is doing pretty good with staying on top of things. I am just hanging out everyday with libby trying to keep us both sane and alive even though we are starting to feel like survivors on a desert island.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Our very first Halloween with our little Miss Liberty. I decided that since we have been calling her our little bug we would dress her up this year as a little bug so i spent all day Thursday sewing her very first Halloween costume. We had a church party we decided to go to so i had to get it finished in one day and i am not the most skilled at sewing but it turned out ok and once I put it on her it was sooo super cute. The party was ....ok.... we went in, ate some pizza and spent some time showing off Libby's costume and then headed home. On Saturday we had a pretty low key day we just rented a scarey movie and of course ate our traditional chilli dogs and hot apple cider. Nate and Jen came over and we play an awesome round of Phase 10 and ate more junk food than any of us ever should have - but hey thats what Halloween is for right. Happy Halloween everyone!

Going to the Dr's

I took Bert to the Dr this week and she is doing really well- she is not too happy about all the shots but they say the fever and grumpiness from them should be gone in a day or so. The Dr told us that she is over the 90 % in length and under the 50% in weight, so we have a super tall skinny little girl. She weights ten pounds and is two feet tall, at two months, so we couldn't be happier --- maybe someone in this family will be tall. hah ha ha! Its good to hear she is happy and healthy.

Little Miss Liberty

So here is our little Liberty we finally got some time to get some pictures up so we can show off how cute she is. She is growing and changing so fast it is amazing. Her eyes are still blue but they are getting a little lighter in the middle and getting a bit of green in them. Her little legs are getting so chubby and rolly and she is already starting to rub off all her dark hair in spots so she looks like we took the hair trimmers to her head hehehheheheh. She is a little ball of personality she doesn't even really seem like a baby at times, she is already smiling at us and making faces. She is a total handful but we are having the time of our lives not sleeping and enjoying her.

I have arrived......

Due to my parents lack of time, I, the baby, have decided to write a post for you. I arrived perfectly on time this last weekend. I was just under 7 pounds and about 1.5 feet. Yes I am short, lay off....

My mommy did really well and was in a rush to have me. So much so, that we had to wait for the doctor to get to the hospital, yes WAIT for him, but it all worked out.

I am currently cute as a button, naturally. Lest you find yourself thinking the absurd thought that I, the baby, am typing this, the truth is that I am only DICTATING it to my daddy. HE is actually typing (silly people)....

My mommy and daddy are glad that I came while daddy was still here. He is leaving next week to go to school (sucker) while mommy and I stay here on vacation. Then we will go.

We have had lots of fun visitors and hope to see even more soon.

I am getting tired now, cause I am really little (though my toes and fingers are really long), so I will go. More to come.

Our Little Girl...... in my tummy still. Only 4 weeks to go.

We are getting so excited for our little girl to come. We went and did the tour of the hospital last night and it made everything so much more real. It was really fun to go and see exactly where we would be and how everything would happen. We got to see a brand new baby boy in the nursery and i could help but think of how crazy it is that we are going to have one of those soon. It still seems totally surreal. I can't believe she will be here soon!!!!
